Craft lab

Six techniques. One badge. Try each one.

Every technique below is a bench you can put your hands on — press, pour, polish, etch, print and plate the same Aumetta mark, and see exactly what each process leaves on the metal.

I

Die struck

Steel die, hydraulic press, bare metal.

Your artwork is milled into a steel die and struck into brass or iron under hydraulic pressure. Raised and recessed metal, no colour — the classic coin and insignia finish.

Soft enamel

Colour poured into the recesses, metal lines left standing.
